Edalorhina nasuta Boulenger, 1912, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 8, 10: 190. Syntypes: BMNH (3 specimens), by original designation, these being 1947.2.19.7–10 (originally 1912.11.1.12–15) according to museum records. Type locality: "Huancabamba, E. Peru, above 3000 ft."
