Removed from the synonym of Leptodactylus marmoratus by Kwet, 2007, Mitt. Mus. Naturkd. Berlin, Zool., 83 (Supplement): 56-68, where it had been placed by Heyer, 1973, Contrib. Sci. Nat. Hist. Mus. Los Angeles Co., 251: 40.
