Adenomera phonotriccus Carvalho, Giaretta, Angulo, Haddad, and Peloso, 2019, Am. Mus. Novit., 3919: 5. Holotype: MPEG 41155, by original designation. Type locality: "municipality of Palestina do Pará (5.70228° S, 48.24949° W; 166 m), on the western margin of the lower Araguaia River, state of Pará, northern Brazil".

Distribution
Known with certainty only from the type locality (Municipality of Palestina do Pará, 166 m elevation) and nearby Marabá, on the western side of the lower Araguaia River), although expected to be more widely distributed in Pará, Brazil.
Comment
One of several previously identified but unnamed species found in Brazil.
