Crossodactylodes bokermanni Peixoto, 1983 "1982", Rev. Brasil. Biol., 42: 619. Holotype: EI 7173, by original designation. Type locality: "Santa Teresa, Estado do Espírito Santo, (19° 56′ S, 40° 36′ W); alt. aprox. 675 m), Brasil".

Distribution

Forests of in the municipalities of Santa Teresa, Castelo, and Domingos Martins, Espírito Santo, Brazil, 800 to 1477 m elevation. See comment.

World: 619. Santos, Magalhães, Lyra, Zaher, Giasson, Garcia, Carnaval, and Haddad, 2020, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 148 (106819): 1–18, noted two cryptic species in the state of  Espírito Santo, Brazil. Santos, Magalhães, Ferreira, Vittorazzi, Dias, Leite, Lourenço, Santos, Haddad, and Garcia, 2020, Herpetol. Monogr., 34: 1–38, found the nominal species to be composed of at least three cryptic lineages and provided an account, noting that the advertisement call and larval morphology remain unknown.
