Rhacophorus albilabris Boulenger, 1888, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 6, 1: 105. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.9.16 (formerly 1887.12.22.49) according to Blommers-Schlösser and Blanc, 1991, Faune de Madagascar, 75: 305, and museum records. Type locality: "Eastern Imerina", Madagascar.
