Comment

In the Boophis goudotii group, according to the original publication. Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 160-161, provided an account and noted at least one unnamed similar species. Randrianiaina, Navarro Antúnez, Canitz, Forth, Lemme, Rodríguez, Rinas, Thänert, Tröger, Westphal, Willim, Wollenberg, Strauss, and Vences, 2009, Herpetol. Notes, 2: 165-173, described larval differences between this species and an unnamed cryptic species (now named as Boophis quasiboehmei).
