Boophis (Boophis) burnhamae Vences, Köhler, Hutter, Preick, Petzold, Rakotoarison, Ratsoavina, Glaw, and Scherz, 2024, Vert. Zool., Senckenberg, 74: 674. Holotype: ZSM 492/2014, by original designation. Type locality: "a site locally called Andrevorevo (campsite “A”) (14.3464°S, 49.1028°E, 1717 m a.s.l.), on the border of the North East and North West regions of Madagascar.". Reliably known from: (1) the type locality, Andrevorevo, and (2) Marojejy at mid-elevation near Camp Marojejia. The elevational range spans 616–1717 m,

Comment

In the Boophis blommersae group, Boophis marojezensis complex, according to the original publication, where adult and larval comparative morphology, and molecular markers (mtDNA) were detailed. Previously confused with Boophis marojezensis.
