Boophis narinsi Vences, Gehara, Köhler, and Glaw, 2012, Amphibia-Reptilia, 33: 511. Holotype: ZSM 294/2006, by original designation. Type locality: "a place locally known as Sakaroa, near Talatakely in Ranomafana National Park, south-eastern Madagascar, 21°15.928′S, 47°24.743′E, 1048 m above sea level".

Distribution

Currently known only from sites within and directly adjacent to Ranomafana National Park, southeastern Madagascar.

Comment

The sister species of Boophis majori according to the original publication. Larval morphology was described as "Boophis sp. aff. major 'long calls'" by Schmidt, Strauss, Reeve, Letz, Ludewig, Neb, Pluschzick, Randrianiaina, Reckwell, Schröder, Wesolowski, and Vences, 2008, Herpetol.
