Distribution

Vohiparara region, in or near Ranomafana National Park, east-central Madagascar, and Ivohiboro Protected Area, southeastern Madagascar.

Redescribed and removed from the synonymy of Boophis goudoti by Glaw, Köhler, De la Riva, Vieites, and Vences, 2010, Zootaxa, 2383: 31, where it had been placed by Guibé, 1978, Bonn. Zool. Monogr., 11: 72; and Blommers-Schlösser, 1979, Bijdr. Dierkd., 49: 285. Basham, Masotti, Schmeder, Vences, Razafitsimialona, Andrianatenaina, Andrianoely, Allen-Love, Scheffers, Zamudio, and Wright, 2026, J. Herpetol., 60: 1–12, provided a genetically confirmed record from the Ivohiboro Protected Area, southeastern Madagascar.
