Mantidactylus (Chonomantis) kitrinolaimus Vences, Köhler, Mitze, Petzold, Preick, Raselimanana, Rakotoarison, Riemann, Rödel, Wastyn, Scherz, and Glaw, 2026, Spixiana, München, 48: 280. Holotype: ZSM 267/2016, by original designation. Type locality: "near the hotel 'Eco Lodge chez Arol', Masoala Peninsula, North East of Madagascar (geographical coordinates 15.712° S, 49.9640° E, ca. 21 m a. s. l.)".

Common Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known from two lowland localities at the border between the northern Central East and North East regions of Madagascar: (1) the type locality on the Masoala Peninsula, and (2) Andranofotsy. The known elevational range is 21–85 m.

Comment

Corresponds to Mantidactylus sp. 11 of Vieites, Wollenberg, Andreone, Köhler, Glaw, and Vences, 2009, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA, 106: 8267–8272, and Carné and Vieites, 2024, Diversity & Distributions, 30 (12: e13912): 1–13, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology and molecular markers were provided.
