Mantidactylus (Ochthomantis) rabibisoai Vences, Köhler, Mitze, Petzold, Preick, Raselimanana, Rakotoarison, Riemann, Rödel, Wastyn, Scherz, and Glaw, 2026, Spixiana, München, 48: 291. Holotype: ZMA 20143, by original designation. Type locality: "Vevembe (geographical coordinates 22.7948° S, 47.1871° E, 581 m a. s. l.), South East of Madagascar ".  

Common Names

None noted. 

Distribution

Known from three sites in the southern Central East and South East of Madagascar: (1) the type locality Vevembe, (2) Beremby in Ranomafana National Park, and(3) Ranomafana village. The reliably known elevational range is 581–628 m.

Zool., Amsterdam, 80: 17–65 (who also described tadpole morphology), Poth, Peram, Vences, and Schulz, 2013, J. Nat. Prod., 76: 1548–1558, and  Carné and Vieites, 2024, Diversity & Distributions, 30 (12: e13912): 1–13, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, molecular markers, and advertisement call were detailed.
