Evergreen forest of Mount Shiwandashan at elevations between 300 and 600 m (Golden Camellia National Nature Reserve and Shiwandashan National Nature Reserve), Guangxi Province, China.

The sister taxon of Leptobrachella wuhuangmontis, according to the original publication where mtDNA (16S) molecular markers (including a tree of Leptobrachella), morphology, and advertisement call were detailed.
