Comment
Previously confused with Scutiger nyingchiensis according to the original publication, who also noted that a record of Scutiger nyingchiensis from Sela Pass (Arunachal Pradesh), India (Sarania, Devi, Kumar, Wang, and Rakshit, 2015, Curr. Sci., Bangalore, 109: 413–414), is referable to this species. See Khatiwada, Shu, Subedi, Wang, Ohler, Cannatella, Xie, and Jiang, 2019, Asian Herpetol. Res., 10: 139–157, for comments on morphology. See account for Tibet by Che, Jiang, Yan, and Zhang, 2020, Amph. Rept. Tibet: 89–95, who noted that the earlier records of Scutiger nyingchiensis from Medog, Tibet (reported by Li, Zhao, and Dong, 2010, Amph. Rept. Tibet: 19, and Jiang, Rao, Yuan, Wang, Li, Hou, Che, and Che, 2012, Zootaxa, 3388: 36) refers to this species. Wangyal, Bower, Sherub, Tshewang, Wangdi, Rinchen, Puntsho, Tashi, Koirala, Bhandari, Phuntsho, Koirala, Ghalley, Chaida, Tenzin, Powrel, Tshewang, Raika, Jamtsho, Kinley, Gyeltshen, Tashi, Nidup, Wangdi, Phuentsho, Norbu, Wangdi, Wangchuk, Tobgay, Dorji, and Das, 2020, Herpetol.
