Megophrys binlingensis fanjingmontis Zhang, Liang, Ran, and Shen, 2012, Chinese J. Zool., 47: 135. Holotype: TRU trxy01, by original designation. Type locality: Heiwan River region in Fanjing Mountain of Jiangkou County, Guizhou Province, about 900 m, China.

Distribution

Known from Mount Fanjing in northeastern Guizhou and Youyang County in southeastern Chongqing, China, at elevations of 800–950 m.

 Zhang, 2017, Amph. Rept. Fanjing Mts.: 77–80, provided taxonomic and natural history information for the Fanjing Mountains population (as Megophrys binlingensis fanjingmontis) in northeastern Guizhou, China. Lyu, Qi, Wang, Zhang, Zhao, Zeng, Wan, Yang, Mo, and Wang, 2023, Zool. Res., Kunming, 44: 418, provided an account, assigned it to their Boulenophrys minor group, and discussed populations of unsure assignment.
