Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (Jiulianshan National Nature Reserve, southern Jiangxi, China. At elevations of 650–800 m).

Comment

Most closely related to Boulenophrys xiangnanensis and Boulenophrys yingdeensis, according to the original publication, where adult morphology and molecular markers were detailed.
