Type locality: "Fengyang Forest Station and adjacent area in Liandu, Lishui, Zhejiang, China (28°11′51.72″N, 119°49′2.28″E, altitude 1 100 m)".

English Names

None noted. 


Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (Fengyang Forest Station and adjacent area in Liandu, Lishui, Zhejiang, China, elevation 1100 m). See comment. 


Most closely related to Megophrys boettgeri (now Panophrys) according to the original publication. Records from Xianju County, Zhejiang Province, China, presumably all apply to Megophrys xianjuensis, according to Wang, Wu, Peng, Shi, Lu, and Wu, 2020, ZooKeys, 904: 54–55.
