Distribution
Currently known only from the Aceh Highlands of Sumatra, Indonesia, in Aceh Province Aceh Tengah Regency, Linge District, as well as Pidie Regency, Geumpang District.

Most similar to Megophrys parallela according to the original publication where morphology and molecular markers were detailed.
