Xenophrys jinggangensis Wang in Wang, Zhang, Zhao, Sung, Yang, Pang, and Zhang, 2012, Zootaxa, 3546: 58. Holotype: SYS a001430, by original designation. Type locality: "Mount Jinggang (26° 33′ 06.30″ N, 114° 09′ 17.60″ E; 845 m a.s.l.), Jinggangshan City, Jiangxi Province, China".

Mount Jinggang, in the middle of the Luoxiao Range, running along in western Jiangxi–Hunan border, China, 700-850 m elevation.


 Fei and Ye, 2016, Amph. China, 1: 678–680, provided an account, photogarphs, and dot map, as Xenophrys jinggangensis.
