Kalimantan Horned Frog (original publication). 

Distribution

Known from two widely separated regions on Borneo: 1) montane southeastern Kalimantan, Indonesia, and 2) montane northeastern Sarawak into the Crocker Range of western Sabah, Malaysia, presumably extending into montane northeastern Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Natural Resident: Indonesia, Malaysia, Malaysia, East (Sarawak and/or Sabah)

Comment

The sister taxon of Megophrys nasuta (in the subgenus Pelobatrachus), with which this species was formerly confused, according to the original publication.
