Distribution

Known from Congjiang County in southern Guizhou and Mount Jiuwan in northern Guangxi, China, at elevations of 1100–1300 m.

Molecular markers, external morphology, advertisement call, and natural history detailed in the original publication. Lyu, Qi, Wang, Zhang, Zhao, Zeng, Wan, Yang, Mo, and Wang, 2023, Zool. Res., Kunming, 44: 428, provided an account and placed this in their Boulenophrys boettgeri group.
