Micrixalus gadgili Pillai and Pattabiraman, 1990, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, 86: 386. Holotype: ZSI-SRS VA/780 according to Chanda, Das, and Dubois, 2001 "2000", Hamadryad, 25: 107. Type locality: "Dynamite House, Pamba, Sabarigiri, [Kerala,] S. India, Alt. 990 metres".

Distribution

Western Ghats in the state of Kerala, restricted to between the Palghat and Shencottah Gaps; specifically reported from species in Sabarimala, Gavi (Pathanamthitta District), Thekkady (Idukki District) and Kesavapara (Palakkad District).
