Micrixalus kodayari Biju, Garg, Gururaja, Shouche, and Walujkar, 2014, Ceylon J. Sci., Biol. Sci., 43: 36. Holotype: BNHS 5689, by original designation. Type locality: "Kodayar, Tirunelveli dist., Tamil Nadu state, India".

Kodayar Torrent Frog (Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Deepak, and Kulkarni, 2023, Fauna India Checklist, vers. 5.0 : 6).

Distribution

Western Ghats in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu but restricted to the south of the Shencottah Gap; specifically reported from Kodayar and Kakkachi, (Tirunelveli District).
