Callulops eremnosphax Kraus and Allison, 2009, Bishop Mus. Occas. Pap., 104: 7. Holotype: BPBM 13212, by original designation. Type locality: "along E branch Avi Avi River, 5.5 km S and 5.6 km W of Tekadu Airstrip, 7.735° S, 146.496° E, 12 m, Gulf Province, Papua New Guinea".

Asterophrys eremnosphax — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 691, by implication. See comment under Callulops

Known only from the type locality (5.5 km south and 5.6 km west of Tekadu airstrip), Gulf Province, Papua New Guinea.
