Comment

Thought a possible synonym of Hylophorbus microtis by Van Kampen, 1919, Bijdr. Dierkd., 21: 54, and provisionally placed in the synonymy of Callulops doriae by Parker, 1934, Monogr. Frogs Fam. Microhylidae: 65, it was resurrected by Kraus, 2019, Zootaxa, 4612: 9, who discussed the problematic nature of the taxon given that the only specimen is the holotype and in a poor state of preservation.
