Callulops yapenensis Günther, Stelbrink, and von Rintelen, 2012, Vert. Zool., Dresden, 62: 413. Holotype: ZMB 62566, by original designation. Type locality: "Waira Mountain about 7 km NEN of the village of Kontiunae (Konti), about 12 km direct line NE of Serui, 620 m a.s.l., 1° 47′ S and 136° 20′ E, Yapen Island, Papua Province of Indonesia".

Asterophrys yapenensis — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 691, by implication. See comment under Callulops.
