Copiula bisyllaba Günther and Richards, 2020, Russ. J. Herpetol., 27: 47. Holotype: SAMA R71515, by original designation. Type locality: "upper Strickland River, Western Province, Papua New Guinea (6.2763° S 142.1022° E; 110 m a.s.l.)". 

Asterophrys bisyllaba — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 479, by implication.

Distribution

Broad distribution across the lower slopes of the central cordillera and adjacent lowlands in Western, Gulf, and Southern Highlands Provinces, south-central Papua New Guinea, at elevations between about 100 m and 1000 m.
