Copiula pipiens Burton and Stocks, 1986, Trans. R. Soc. S. Aust., 110: 155. Holotype: SAMA R29779, by original designation. Type locality: "Wirui, 1 km from Wewak (3°35′S, 143°35′E), Papua New Guinea".
