Sphenophryne albopunctata Van Kampen, 1909, Nova Guinea, 9: 42. Syntypes: ZMA 5821-22, according to Van Tuijl, 1995, Bull. Zool. Mus. Univ. Amsterdam, 14: 129. Type locality: "Noord-Fluss bei Sabang" (= North River [Lorentz River] near Sabang), Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality, near Sabang, on the Lorentz River, in Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.
