Oreophryne pseudunicolor Günther and Richards, 2016, Vert. Zool., Senckenberg, 66: 163. Holotype: SAMA R69686, by original designation. Type locality: "Darai Plateau, Gulf Province, Papua New Guinea (07°07.771’S, 143°36.806’E; 400 m a.s.l.)". 

Asterophrys pseudunicolor — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 521, by implication.
