Xenorhina arboricola Allison and Kraus, 2000, Herpetologica, 56: 286. Holotype: BPBM 13746, by original designation. Type locality: "southern slopes of Mt. Menawa, 8.5 km N, 14 km E of Utai Aerodeome, vicinity of Agpo Creek, 1200 m elevation, 3.309° S, 141.709° E, Bewani Mts., West Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea".

Asterophrys arboricola — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 557, by implication.
