Known only from (1) Amparihy (type locality) and (2) Menamalona on the Masoala Peninsula, Madagascar, elevation 778–800 m.

Comment

In the Rhombophryne laevipes group, the sister species of Rhombophryne sonaliae, according to the original publication, where adult external morphology, morphometrics, osteology, and molecular markers were detailed as well as relevant earlier literature.
