Rhombophryne ornata Scherz, Ruthensteiner, Vieites, Vences, and Glaw, 2015, Herpetologica, 71: 311. Holotype: ZSM 1816/2010, by original designation. Type locality: "on the Tsaratanana Massif, Camp 2 (Matsabory Maiky), 14.15256°S, 48.95728°E (all datum 5 WGS84), 2021 m above sea level (asl), on the border between the Antsiranana and Mahajanga provinces, northern Madagascar.
