Holotype: ZSM 1826/2010, by original designation. Type locality: "Bepia Campsite on the Tsaratanana massif (Camp 3; 14.1182˚S, 48.9782˚E, 2294 m a.s.l.), Diana Region, former Antsiranana province, northern Madagascar".

Known from Bepia and Andranomadio on the Tsaratanana Massif in Tsaratanana National Park, northern Madagascar.
