Rhombophryne vaventy Scherz, Ruthensteiner, Vences, and Glaw, 2014, Zootaxa, 3860: 554. Holotype. ZSM 357/2005, by original designation. Type locality: "Marojejy National Park, “Camp Simpona”, 14° 26.199′ S, 49° 44.601′ E, 1326 m above sea level), northeastern Madagascar."

Known only from the type locality in Marojejy National Park, northeastern Madagascar, 1326 m elevation.

Comment

Confused previously with Rhombophryne serratopalpebrosa according to the original publication. In the Rhombophryne serratopalpebrosa species group of Belluardo, Scherz, Santos, Andreone, Antonelli, Glaw, Muñoz-Pajares, Randrianirina, Raselimanana, Vences, and Crottini, 2022, Syst. Biodiversity, 20 (1: 2039320): 1–13.
