Comment

Most closely related to Chiasmocleis atlantica, Chiasmocleis carvalhoi, and Chiasmocleis schubarti according to the original publication. Santos and Amorim, 2010, Herpetol. Rev., 41: 103, provided a record for Pernambuco, Brazil, and discussed the range. In the Chiasmocleis albopunctata clade of Peloso, Sturaro, Forlani, Gaucher, Motta, and Wheeler, 2014, Bull. Am. Mus.
