Comment

In the original publication, Bokermann suggested that Chiasmocleis centralis is allied with Chiasmocleis shudikarensis, but Carvalho, 1954, Occas. Pap. Mus. Zool. Univ. Michigan, 555: 11, suggested affinity with Chiasmocleis albopunctataVaz-Silva, Maciel, Nomura, Morais, Guerra Batista, Santos, Andrade, Oliveira, Brandão, and Bastos, 2020, Guia Ident. Anf. Goiás e Dist. Fed. Brasil Central: 160, provided an account.
