Chiasmocleis haddadi Peloso, Sturaro, Forlani, Gaucher, Motta, and Wheeler, 2014, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 386: 63. Holotype: MNHNP 2011.0139, by original designation. Type locality: "Montagne Kotika (03° 56′ 00″ N/54° 11′ 05″ W, 700 m), French Guiana".

Known from the type locality on the montagne Kotika and Mont Bakra in French Guiana; southern and central Suriname and likely into adjacent extreme northern Pará, Brazil.

Notes, 8: 63–68, reported the species from the Sipaliwini Nature Reserve, southern Surinam. Redelimited by the recognition of Chiasmocleis jacki by Fouquet, Rodrigues, and Peloso, 2022, Zootaxa, 5200: 1–23.
