Glyphoglossus huadianensis Zhang, Liu, Zhang, Hui, Xiao, and Rao, 2021, Asian Herpetol. Res., 12: 374. Holotype: KIZA00254, by original designation. Type locality: "Huadianba (25°52’05’’ N, 100°01’05’’ E, 2920 m elevation, Cangshan Mountain, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, China."

Distribution

Known only from two localities, the type locality (Huadianba, Cangshan Mountain, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture), and Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, China.

Formerly confused with Glyphloglossus yunannensis, according to the original publication, which detailed comparative morphology and molecular markers that set this species off from other members of the genus.
