Kaloula latidisca Chan, Grismer, and Brown, 2014, Zootaxa, 3900: 574. Holotype: KU 336666, by original designation. Type locality: "Gubir, Kedah, Peninsular Malaysia (6° 8'24.56"N 100°50'53.58"E; 180 m a.s.l)".

English Names

Wide-disked Narrow-mouthed Frog (original publication). 

Malayan Painted Bullfrog (Zug and Mulcahy, 2020 "2019", Amph. Rept. S. Tanintharyi: 44). 

Distribution

Currently known from peninsular Myanmar and peninsular Malaysia, but presumably will be found in adjacent peninsular Thailand. 

Comment

Confused with Kaloula baleata prior to its naming according to the original publication. Zug and Mulcahy, 2020 "2019", Amph. Rept. S. Tanintharyi: 44, provided a brief account for South Tanintharyi, peninsular Myanmar.
