Kaloula nonggangensis Mo, Zhang, Zhou, Chen, Tang, Meng, and Chen, 2013, Zootaxa, 3710: 168. Holotype. NHMG1106036, adult male, from the Nonggang National Nature Reserve, Southern Guangxi Province, China (22.4522° N, 106.9354° E; altitude: 186 m a.s.l.)".

Distribution
Known from Nonggang National Nature Reserve, southern Guangxi Province, China at 186 m elevation, near to the Vietnamese border, where it is expected; also reported from southern Yunnan, China.
Comment
In the Kaloula verrucosa group and the sister taxon of Kaloula borealis according to the original publication. Wei, Song, Yuan, and Wu, 2020, Chinese J. Zool., 55: 53–57, reported the species from Wenshan National Nature Reserve near the town of Fadou, Xichou County, Yunnan Province, China. 1300 m elevation.
