Callula obscura Günther, 1864, Rept. Brit. India: 438. Holotype: BMNH 1858.11.28.42, according to Parker, 1934, Monogr. Frogs Fam. Microhylidae: 93, now reregistered as 1947.2.11.20 according to museum records. Type locality: "Ceylon" (= Sri Lanka).
