Crinia flindersensis Donnellan, Anstis, Price, and Wheaton, 2012, Zootaxa, 3499: 17. Holotype: MUZD 950163, by original designation. Type locality: "Alligator Gorge, 8.5 miles SSW of Wilmington, Flinders Ranges, South Australia".

Common Names

Northern Flinders Ranges Froglet (original publication; Cogger, 2018, Rept. Amph. Australia, 7th ed.: 77).

Distribution

The northern Finders Ranges from Black Springs, Wilkatana Station in the south to Billy Springs in the northern most foothills, South Australia.

Natural Resident: Australia

Endemic: Australia

Comment

The sister taxon of Crinia riparia and previously confused with that species according to the original publication. Cogger, 2018, Rept. Amph. Australia, 7th ed.: 77–78, provided a brief account, photograph, and polygon distribution map. Cutajar, Portway, Gillard, and Rowley, 2022, Tech. Rep. Aust. Mus. Online, 36: 12, provided a polygon distribution map.
