Litoria ollauro Menzies, 1993, Aust. J. Zool., 41: 247. Holotype: UP 4644, by original designation. Type locality: "Bundi Ridge, above Agaun, Milne Bay Province of Papua New Guinea, ... altitude about 1200 m".

Known only from the type locality in the eastern Owen Stanley Mountains, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.

Comment

In the Litoria nigropunctata group according to the original publication. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 146-147, provided a brief account and included this in his Litoria iris group. Shea and Kraus, 2007, Zootaxa, 1514: 37-60, commented on types. Kraus, 2013, Herpetol. Rev., 44: 278, provided a record from the west slope of Mount Dayman, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea. Associated with this genus on the basis of morphology by Donnellan, Mahony, Esquerré, Brennan, Price, Lemmon, Lemmon, Günther, Monis, Bertozzi, Keogh, Shea, and Richards, 2025, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 204(2: zlaf015): 51, who noted that genetic confirmation is desirable.
