Cacosternum aggestum Channing, Schmitz, Burger, and Kielgast, 2013, Zootaxa, 3701: 523. Holotype: MHNG 2690.25, by original designation. Type locality: "at Klipheuwel on a flooded field, 13 June 2007, 33° 41′ 48.7″ S, 18° 43′ 27.6″ E", Western Cape Province, Rep. South Africa.

Distribution

Known only from Klpheuwel and Vissershok, in the area northeast of Cape Town, Western Cape Province, Rep. South Africa, although expected to be found more widely.
