Distribution

Nardouw and Cederberg sandstone Fynbos in the northern Cederberg between 32.1º S and 31.9º S at elevations of 450 m to 540 m, although likely to be more widespread, Western Cape Province, Rep. South Africa.

Comment

In the Cacosternum capense group, the sister taxon of Cacosternum namaquense, but previously confused with Cacosternum karooicum, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, molecular markers, a dot map and estimated distribution, and advertisement call were detailed.
