Distribution

Northern Guangdong, southern Jiangxi and southeastern Hunan, China, indicating that this frog is distributed in the Nanling Mountains and southern Luoxiao Mountains of southern China.

Confused with Nidirana adenopleura prior to its recognition, according to the original publication, where vocalization, morphometrics, and a molecular tree of relatives was provided.
