Distribution

Mount Dapan, Mount Longmen, and Hangzhou Botanical Garden, all situated in northern Zhejiang, China, in swamps, ponds, and paddies.

Previously confused with Nidirana adenopleura according to the original publication, which, on the basis of molecular, acoustic, and morphometric evidence segregated this speciies and restricted Nidirana adenopleura to Taiwan and Jiangxi, Fujian, and southern Zhejiang, China.
