Distribution
Known only from two sites: Lienhuachih and Xiangshan (Sun Moon Lake), Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan; uncorroborated record from Jiaoxi Township in Yilan County, Taiwan.

Formerly confused with Nidirana okinavana according to the original publication, where molecular markers, morphometrics, advertisement call, and larval and adult morphology were detailed.
