Odorrana ichangensis Chen in Shen, Zhu, Li, Chen, and Chen, 2020, Asian Herpetol. Res., 11: 301. Holotype: HNNU 1807I139, by original designation. Type locality: "Gaojiayan Town (N30°38′45.6″, E110°57′7.2″; 323 melevation), Changyang Co., Yichang City, Hubei Prov., China".

Distribution

Mountain streams in western China (Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Chongqing), in Qionglai Mountain, north of Dalou Mountain, Wushan and Daba Mountains, from the western of Sichuan Basin along its southern edge up to the northeastern edge, reaching the eastern edge of Wuling Mountain, 246 to 1025 m elevation.

Confused with Odorrana hejiangensis prior to the original publication where Odorrana ichangensis was shown to differ both in molecular markers and calls, as well as morphology.
