Comment

Most similar to Rana nigrovittata and Rana mortenseni according to the original publication. Chan-ard, Cota, and Makchai, 2011, Amph. E. Region Thailand: 100–101, provided a photograph and brief account for the Eastern Region of Thailand.  Stuart and Emmett, 2006, Fieldiana, Zool., N.S., 109: 8–9, provided records for the Cadamom Mountains, southwestern Cambodia, and noted errors in previous literature. Neang and Holden, 2008, Field Guide Amph. Cambodia: 76, provided a photograph, brief account of identification, ecology, and range in Cambodia. Fei, Ye, Jiang, and Xie, 2008, Acta Zootaxon. Sinica, 33: 199–206, provided a key to the close relatives of this species. See account by Sheridan and Stuart, 2018, PLoS One, 13(3: e0192766): 23–26, who revised the systematics.
